A U.S. Citizen 21 years of age or older may apply for their parent to receive a Green Card. Please note that a Green Card Holder may not apply for their parent to receive a Green Card.

U.S. Citizen parents may apply for children under the age of 21 in addition to those that are older. This includes children who are married. A Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) may also apply for their children. However, a key distinction is that Lawful Permanent Residents cannot apply for married children.
